Zanzibar.Kamati Main Board of CCM Zanzibar Dr Ali Mohamed Shein imempendekeza unanimously that the candidate for the presidency of Zanzibar after taking form and will be the only candidate for that position through the party, Zanzibar.
Before the members of the special committee to begin to discuss the agenda of a candidate for the presidency of Zanzibar in a meeting at the headquarters of the CCM Kisiwandui in Zanzibar yesterday, elected unanimously Vice President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr Mohamed Gharib Bilal chaired session.
Deputy Secretary General of CCM Zanzibar, Vuai Ali Vuai said the meeting received and discussed the name of Dr Shein after emerging for the second time he requested that imchague CCM candidate for the presidency of Zanzibar.
"Session of the Committee appointed Executive Committee Zanzibar imempendekeza unanimously appointed by the Executive Committee to re-seat Zanzibar presidency in general elections this year," said Vuai.
He said the next step after the nomination, his name will be presented and discussed at the meeting of the Central Committee and Executive Committee prior to the adoption by the General Assembly of the party.
Speaking after the meeting, members of the NEC, including Dr. Flowers Notebook said DK Shein has demonstrated integrity in the period of his leadership with the successful enforcement of the CCM Election Manifesto in practice.
He DK Shein has been around and chief executive of the government to make the evaluation sessions every three months to look at the successes and problems, the procedure that has helped existence of collective responsibility in the discharge of the functions of government.
His side Rashid Ali Juma said Dr Shein in the past five years has demonstrated great potential and has successfully lead the Government of National Unity seriously despite the existence of challenges were emerge.
Member of the NEC, Alex Simon Marangira said Dr Shein has brought significant changes to the salary levels of employees and chief executives of government, a move that imewasadia reduce the severity of life in the entire period of his leadership.
Marangira said farmers crop Clove for the first time they have seen their price was rising dramatically from Sh3,500 to Sh 14,000 per kg steps that imesadia raise income of farmers of Unguja and Pemba with a reduction in large scale smuggling this crop.
