PRESIDENT RESEARCH CCM-2015: Lowassa adds presidential race

Report of research conducted by the Program of Research and Education for Democracy in Tanzania (REDET), said former Prime Minister who is also the MP for Monduli, Arusha, Mr. Edward Lowassa, it is agreeable to be a presidential candidate in the Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM), among 37 candidates, who were involved in the study.

The study has interviewed 1,250 people out of 2,500 who were targeted, including 624 men, 626 women where 338 people, equal 27.0 percent, said Mr. Lowassa worthy CCM flag waving in the position of presidential candidate.

Other candidates are Deputy Minister of Communications, Science and Technology, Mr. January Makamba (10), the Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs, Dr. Asha-Rose Migiro (9), Minister of Transport, Mr. Samuel Sitta (8) and the Minister of Natural Resources and Tourism, Mr. Lazaro Nyalandu (5).
According to REDET, other candidates are Prof. Sospeter Muhongo (5), Ambassador Amina Salum Ali (2), Vice-President, Dr.Mohamed Gharib Bilal (3), the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Cooperatives, Mr. Stephen Wassira (3) and mr. William Ngeleja (2).
Others are Ally Abeid Karume (1), Amos Siyantemi (1), Jeseph Agama (1), Dr. Miele Malecela (1) where researchers 25participated perform the study.
Among them, 11 are lecturers and students of PhD Degree, six of researchers Masters Degree, seven are graduates of first degree and one does not have a university degree but is experienced in the collection view.
